Performance & safety technology.

After more than thirty years engineering super-sized industrial projects that could withstand some of the toughest climate conditions and natural disasters across the globe, we thought…if we can do that, why not engineer homes that are just as resilient? We shifted the paradigm from building with wood, steel, and other traditional materials to prioritizing Structural Concrete Insulated Panels (SCIP) and developing proprietary methods that make our homes the most resilient on the market. The foundation of our technology is high-performance, safety, and other long-term benefits.

Since 2022, Everlasting Homes has been recognized with six major national building and resiliency awards, including 2025 Resilient Home Builder of the Year USA. We also have been certified as a Passive House Designer. Although our homes are ultra-resilient, there is no mistaking them for a bunker. Everlasting homes blur the line between safe, high-performance and state-of-the-art luxury.

Performance
comparison.

In a qualitative comparison of residential construction methods, our award-winning monolithic homes built with Structural Concrete Insulated Panels (SCIP) and Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) have the highest performance in every category, and outrank all other methods across 6 categories (e.g. Fire, Smoke, Soil movement, Extreme cold, Energy efficiency, and Durability and longevity). Natural disaster
resistance.

Our monolithic SCIP homes withstand wildfires, tornados, CAT5 hurricanes, floods, mold, rot, and termites. Visit the links below for more information about natural disaster categories. Scroll down for technical information about fire ratings and certifications.

Health and
lifestyle benefits.

Healthful benefits are integrated into our monolithic homes, including:

  • clean air; resistance to allergens, dust, and mold

  • thermal design that regulates heat and cold

  • biophilic elements such as connection with nature, urban sound reduction, dynamic and diffused natural light, and other benefits that help reduce stress, and expedite healing and well-being

We also partner on amenities that reflect your lifestyle and wellness priorities, including home spas, pools, and recreation. For more information visit:

Environmentally
safe products.

The insulation core of the SCIP panels that we use is non-toxic and does not off-gas volatile organic compounds (VOCs). For LEED certification, premium recycled materials can be requested.

Our outer concrete is also made from non-toxic materials, and is inherently non-emitting of VOCs unlike many common building materials that can escape into the air and cause illness and allergic reactions. VOCs are also emitted from wood and other traditional materials that require treatments for resistance to fire, water, mold, rot, and termites.

Energy efficiency and passive houses.

Everlasting Homes has been recognized with six awards including 2025 “Resilient Home Builder of the Year USA” and 2024 “Green Home of the Year.” The continuous EPS insulation in the center of the SCIP, along with our outer concrete, creates a monolithic envelope that significantly reduces thermal bridging and air leakage. When combined with our other building methods, it results in 60% to 80% energy savings. We also incorporate solar energy to reach “Net Zero” or “Net Positive,” and smart home features for equipment, lighting, and devices. Visit the link below for more information about our Zero Energy Ready, RESNET® rated, and Passive Houses.

Energy efficiency and Passive Houses

Low maintenance
and lasting durability.

Our technology reduces day-to-day maintenance that results in considerable operational savings over time. Worry-free benefits that surpass traditional building systems include:

  • Durability against natural disasters and extreme climates

  • No structural wood rot or termite damage

  • Roofs that last well beyond a lifetime

  • Optional self-healing protection against exterior wall cracking

  • Passive Homes that minimize mechanical systems and appliances

Building
flexibility.

SCIP panels have several options that offer more flexibility:

  • Panel thickness

  • Density

  • Alternative core options including recycled material, and other materials to meet unique thermal or structural needs.

We also offer several building methods. Visit these links to learn more:

Product evaluations
and approvals.

The Structural Concrete Insulated Panel (SCIP) product that we use has been ICC-ES Evaluated by the International Code Council.

International Code Council (ICC-ES) is the leading global source of codes and safety solutions for the building industry. Products undergo rigorous testing criteria during the evaluation, setting the standard for Building & Safety codes for permit approvals and certificates of occupancy.

  • Major jurisdictions in areas prone to natural disasters adhere to ICC-ES including Houston, Los Angeles, and Miami-Dade County.

  • Additionally our homes exceed many of the United States structural engineering and energy standards.

Fire ratings and
UHPC.

SCIP by itself is Class A-rated (2 hours, up to 450°F), better than most building systems on their own, and the monolithic envelopes built with it prevent embers and smoke from entering gaps or eves (there are none). But most fires reach ~1800°F so we also offer Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC), which we hold the N. American rights to. UHPC is the highest level of protection on the market, withstanding fires up to 2,192°F continuously. It is also 10 times stronger than regular concrete, providing resistance to cracking, water, freezing, thawing, mold, chemicals, and is self-healing. Combined, no other building system can provide this high-performance resilience. For more information visit:

Built
efficiently.

Everlasting homes not only achieve high performance, resiliency, and safety, with other long-term benefits, but we can deliver the keys to them in as little as 12 months after receiving an approved design, about the same time as or less than other building methods.

Industry reviews.

“In the durability department, (Everlasting’s) completed, monolithic home can withstand 200-plus mph winds, would survive an earthquake measuring 9.0 on the Richter scale, has a fire rating, and is mold, wood rot and termite resistant…Additional benefits include…an extremely low life-cycle cost due to reduced operating cost of energy, insurance and maintenance.”
